“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
This passage is the basis and foundation of this fellowship. We are believers who seek to be what God wants us to be.
Romans 12:1 says to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God and calls same our acceptable service. Which means if our bodies and lives are not living sacrifices, our service is not acceptable. At Trinity, we will seek to know God in Three persons: God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit and cultivate them to ensure we remain living sacrifices to The Glory of God by doing the following:
1. Set attainable targets
2. Refuse conforming to this world
3. By transformation and renewal of our minds
4. Attainment of the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
This is a fellowship and not a church. Meetings will be once a month only.
The target of the fellowship is predominantly women. Why? You may wonder………
Hear the view of the Holy Spirit as explained to me……
Women are the live wire of any society. If all women zip up, all or most men become straight and they serve God; simply because most will seek to please the women in their lives by following them to their God just to win their approval and gain grounds of favour with them for a desired end.
Where the women get it right spiritually, cultivate the HS as they should, no man will miss the leading of Our Father in Heaven. Just check the role of the neck to the head to understand how that works.
In today’s world, we ladies don’t have much of a place to sit and enjoy our company all by ourselves. Most have since changed friends after marriage and or salvation while true companions that will give counsel without envy or jealousy are missing for most. I sure will like to cultivate a relationship where I can bare my mind and be encouraged through my challenges. So if you are like me, I invite you to please join us as we learn of The Trinity and fellowship together.
The thrust of the fellowship is all about The Trinity. We will worship Him, pray, feed on the word of God, cut off all distractions by keeping our focus on God with the Holy Spirit as the Captain of the ship and we shall be jolly good friends at it all.
My prayer is that we be equipped as females, friends, wives, mothers and above all His daughters. May His will be done as The Trinity leads us on this journey of life in the company of ourselves in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
