Anointing is the sanctifying influence of the HS upon believers who seek to know Him intimately.
Anointing is used for:
- Vision in the spirit
- Revelation of truth
- Liberty over captivity
- Wisdom for life
- Power over demons
- Healing and Release from disease
The anointing has greater power than electricity. If you touch naked wire, it knocks out. The power of God will knock you off if you live in sin. Same power will knock off your enemy. Same fire empowers as it did in the upper room. As the anointing intensities in the body, there will not be space for sickness and sin.
Amazing power that fixes things in the physical just through oil, prayer, etc.
it’s invisible power available to every believer. It changes spiritually. Heals emotionally and physically. Conducts through a body…channel..hose. Wire. Electricity/anointing flows through something.
The three channels used to release the anointing on us are:
- Word of God – Bible
- Prayer – in the spirit
- Worship – in spirit and in truth
Anointing is required to serve. God created us to serve; yet anointing is required to serve. Otherwise, everyone will serve effectively without issues – which is not the case, as some find it demanding to serve while it comes easy to some.
- Word: the anointing of God is through the word of God. Word of God is the engine that release prayer and prayer is the engine that release worship. It’s impossible to pray without the word and worship without prayer. The word moves you to pray but you have to move yourself into the word first. Word gives the power, power quickens my spirit and moves me to pray.
- Prayer in The Spirit: anointing is released when we pray in the spirit and commune daily. You must have dedicated alone times with God where He waits to receive you and energize you to continue to pray daily. When you pray deeply and sufficiently in the spirit, there’s a fullness that comes to you and you are able to sing – mostly not a song you would have chosen, but as you sing, it births His anointing in you and you are refreshed. Prayer moves me into worship.

No authority operates without faith.

Faith comes from the word, authority comes from the Lord. (Explain how He craves the attention of His daughters to fellowship and have them close to Him)
When circumstances don’t change people, people become discouraged, defeated, unbelieving, etc. when this happens, when faith isn’t in your life, you give Satan authority over your life with/because of unbelief.
Faith is what releases my authority.
Authority begins with the word. It comes from faith and faith is from the word.
Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word….keep hearing it. Daily.
Word-faith-authority…..if no word, then faith isn’t there and authority dies.
Faith overcomes the world. It gives authority to overcome.
Mark 9:23 I am moved by what I believe! Not what I see or hear. Debt forgiveness example. All things are possible to him that believes.
Faith is the gift of the spirit as We enter into the word….entrance of thy word brings light into my spirit. 2 Cor 4:13 – 15 – vs 13: faith comes by the Holy Ghost
All authority is God’s but He can’t use it without a body. Hence I’m a vessel through whom that authority flows. Jesus authority works through me…that’s why I am seated with him in heavenly places.
#I’ve authority and by my word, Angels obey and are strengthened. Ps 103:20
When I fail to speak, the Angels are weakened.# when I speak the word, angels are strengthened. The church speaks…I’m part of the church.
Faith is a product of the word of God. Heb 10:35-36 not a product of reason.
Be patient to make His word come to pass. Hold unto His promise. Never give up on the received word. HS impacts faith. Once impacted, speak it out. Your spoken word binds Satan to obey. Inheritance comes after you’ve held on.
Jesus speaks the word to heal the sick…he sent his word and healed them.
Jesus spoke out to cast Out demons. Speak!
He casts out with words and not thoughts.
Demons don’t hear thoughts. They only hear your words.
Demon I bind you, I cast you out iJN.
You must learn to condemn any weapon that may rise against you.
Patience develops into an inheritance Heb 10:35-36
Job 29:6 walk in the word, walk your word in the scriptures.
Why is the word so important?
Without the word, we dry up and begin fighting old sins
The word keeps away from sin and old demons which always come back to check vacancies. Matt 12: 43-45 they keep checking dry places and old tenant. When vacant, they go to call others to join and make life difficult.
Put up a sign that says no vacancy. Let the word be mighty in you….dwell in you richly…. Read daily. Mediate hourly. Let the bible run audibly in your car or room.
Tape keeps demons on out of room……the word will keep devil out of your life too!
Absence of the word: Heb 3:8-15 when absent, people walk away from God.
Daily hearing is compulsory: Heb 4:6-14 hearing daily to keep us safe. We must hear regularly…harden not your heart…vs 8?
Unbelief makes man fall vs 11
Vs 12 the word works in 3 dimensions:
- Quick: living….mobile on its own. Ps 147:15 His word runs swiftly from one to another
- Powerful
- Sharper than any two edged sword. Cuts deep. Convicts. Convinces
- Piecing onto the asunder (to the division) of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow and is a
- discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heb 3:7-11 Israel failed because there was no transfer of spirit, soul and body. Because there was no word in the spirit. They operated in the external and failed.
Faith starts in the internal and then flows out to the soulish and then affects the world around us.
- Word is quick. Alive. Dynamic. Power producing more power Heb 4:12 has power. Sharp…word must go in to produce life from the spirit where the spirit of God is. HG is the energy that connects itself into the word inside of you and starts to flow out.
- Ps 119:93 thy word quickens, first in the spiritual which I must receive from my spirit by meditating in my soul, to get into my spirit. Then it begins to charge my spirit cos it’s food to my spirit man. My spirit will suck at it cos the spirit is alive and requires food for survival. Chew the food…that’s is mediate on it over and over. The soulish begins to feed the spirit. Then the spirit charges and produces power which when it gets to a certain level, the blessings begin to come out. Goes in as logos and out as Rhema. Comes in as word and out as alive.
Meditation activate soulish realm. Chew the received word to digest it. You repeat if to your self, you chew it. You activate the soulish which starts to feed the spirit. Then the engine starts to work in your inner being to produce power.
John 15:7 if my word lives in you, that it generating power, it will produce whatever you ask. That is, produces prayer…what you ask. Powerful means energetic, sets things in motion….it begins to achieve. This is where Is 55:11 becomes reality. The minute the logos word enters through my mind, soul, spirit, connects with the HG, becomes Rhema, at that point, the promise is there….so shall my word be that comes out of your mouth, it shall not return void, it shall accomplish. Results happens – because it came through the heart.
The word, I will read it, my mind receives it, my soul mediates, my spirit receives it now, the hem who is in my spirit waiting for the word, receives the word, turns logos into Rhema and Rhema comes out of my mouth and will accomplish mighty things for God. That’s Isaiah 55 (powerful n producing n accomplishing results)
Sharp: it pierces soul from spirit and soul to the body.
I’m a spirit, I’ve a soul. I live in a body
God is in my spirit. I’m in my soul and my soul is in my body.
You are the person. The person is in the soul.
God is in the spirit. I’m in the soul and the soul is in the body.
My spirit and soul are in my body.
Spirit of men is the habitation of God. My soul is the habitation of my personality-me. My body is the vessel where my spirit and soul lives. My spirit and soul lives forever.
EPh 2:10 quickened
1 Cor 6:17 once quickend, we are one with the HS. My spirit is the container where the HS lives. My spirit and HS are one. my spirt is container of HS. my soul is the container of my spirit and my body is the container of my soul.
Word: pierces…so sharp it divides. It divides a roadway between spirit, soul and body.
When the word enters into the spirt, Jesus is born in my spirit just then….born again.
When the word comes into your spirit, Jesus was born….A birth…a beginning….Jesus came in his fullness and not a baby. Reborn. Born again by the word.
Born in my spirit. Formed in my soul. Then Begins to operate in my body.
Reborn or birth in the spirit
A transformation in the soul which takes time, is progressive and continuous
Paul used the word “formed” in Gal 4:19 till Christ be formed in you….it’s a process.
When I received the word, Jesus came into my spirit (birth) as I begin to activate the word through soul and body, he begins to be formed (in a process) in my soul n body.
He moves into my soul in a process to get formed in me not born there.
He came into my body in fullness, but my activities….begins to form Christ in me….in my soul and begins to manifest himself out of me. (He is born in my spirit in fullness)
Jesus begins to form himself within my soul and then manifests himself in my soul and begins to flow out of me.
Powerful process of receipt of the word, till Jesus birth in my spirit, and as I begin to manifest Him, I am able to worship from a position of knowledge and relationship. How do you praise someone you know intimately? You say what you’ve personally experienced and found Him to enjoy. That encourages Him to bless you accordingly.
Take away:
I walk, the word runs. If the word doesn’t run in me, I can’t run.
If I fail to run, there will be no manifestation and I end up unable to worship
So I lack required anointing as His daughter.
Prayers:
Grace our lives with the love for your word
Compel me to study your word
Remove unbelief far from me
Deposit huge doses of faith in me Lord
Transform my soul through and through
Manifest Yourself abundantly in me
Let my being worship you
Fill me to overflowing O God.
